About our Charities

CCP

We have decided to support CCP as one of our charities. We made this decision seeing

as this charity has impacted one of our team members in a beneficial and positive way.

CCP is committed to strengthening families, preventing homelessness and promoting

independence. They have successfully been doing this for almost 30 years.

"I would not be the man I am today without the help I have had from CCP. They are almost like a family to me. I am scared to think the kind of person I would be without the help and support they have provided me. They have provided me with a safe place to live since I was about 16 years old. They are one of the few reasons why I can smile again." -Alex Jarisch

Clic Sargent (Sam's House)

Sam's House is a place where young people can go if they are battling cancer.

It has 16 bedrooms which can be used by Children who are undergoing bone

marrow and stem cell transplants. It is a very nice building with a beautiful

garden. It is very close to our hearts as this is where one of our previous head boys,

John Brown spent a lot of his time whilst he was undergoing treatment.

Sam's House is ideally located near the Bristol children's hospital and was named after Cancer patient Sam Deacon. Clic Sargent fight every day to help young people who have cancer. Their goal is to stop cancer destroying lives. To achieve this they provide accommodation for young people close to the hospital they are getting treated in, whilst looking for a closer place of treatment. They fight to get financial support for the families and much more.
